This is the longest running Quilt Sitters meeting in town. Lindy has been hosting this club since 1986. Once you take an "It's Okay" class from Lindy or any other shop, you can join. Lindy will share Mary Ellen inspired projects and motivate you to finish quilts or start a new one. Show and Tell is encouraged. Sample to be unveiled at the first meeting.

A practical guide to quilt making. Mary Ellen Hopkins started this class in 1980, and it isstill the easier way to make quilts without templates. We will be learning different techniques and concepts each week.

You will learn how to make this beautiful “Stripple Star” quilt from the Kaye England Voices of the Past pattern series. You will learn how to use the Nifty Notions rulers and also some history about Martha Washington. The star blocks in this quilt represent Martha’s many star qualities, her nature, her talents, her humbleness and also her devotion to George. This class will meet three times.

This wonderful pattern was such a success with our last group that we are repeating it. So mums the word for those of you who took the class last session. The pattern is great for using your dark and light stash fabrics. Best of all spend an evening with friends and enjoy solving the mystery of marring fabrics and colors.

You are invited to come spend tme with your Bonnes Amies (good friends). Each month you will receive a kit and pattern to make a portion of the quilt. Each fun session also includes a monthly bonus project, "Keys to the Clubhouse" newsletter, door prize, show 'n tell and refreshments. This beautiful quilt is available in two color ways: pink/green and blue/green. This club meets the second Saturday of each month.

Buggy Barn Pattern "If the Hat Fits" from the book "Frightfully Crazy".
 Hobo Quilts
From the 1880's to the 1940's hobos were a part of American life. Hobo signs were their secret language. You will learn about this secret language and make a quilt out of six inch blocks of hobo signs. A private screening of "Kit Kitridge, American Girl" will be held at Lindy's house before the class starts.
